The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a year-round destination, so whatever season (or time of day), MetroFresh is on hand to ensure no visitors go hungry. In fact, we aim to provide an integral part of the visit—adding a fifth sense, taste, to the experience.
kids
The Atlanta Botanical Garden is devoted to providing an (omit-engaging and) enriching experience for kids. And after a few hours in the wildly engaging Children’s Garden, the young ones get hungry! Bring them in to for a Mini MetroFreshual Meal—our healthy, hearty version of the kid’s meal. We also have a Make-Your-Own GORP Bar, with healthy, all natural sweet and salty (but nourishing) goodies. If it’s time for a treat, High Road craft ice cream is always in stock, for kids and grownups alike.
mobile carts & the snack shack
As you stroll through the garden in the Spring and Summer, look for the big light and dark green umbrellas, and our funky wheelbarrow-style carts. Pick up a cold drink, or packaged snack.
During busy times, MetroFresh in the Garden opens the snack-shack window for a quick drink, some delicious High Road Ice Cream or a packaged snack.

MetroFresh is the sole on-site restaurant at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and we are proud to serve a wide variety of catering needs. From private and corporate events, to sold-out summer concerts, we ( Omit - are delighted to ) present inventive, delicious food that is inspired by the Garden’s value for fresh produce and discovery. eco-friendly
MetroFresh in the Garden joins ABG in devotion to the environment. 90% of all waste generated by the café is compostable – in 2012 we composted 46,373 lbs. (23 tons) of organic waste. Meals are served on delicate pressed leaf Verterra plates from India. Cups, bowls, flatware, food scraps and most containers are all specially made to biodegrade naturally. It’s a poetic cycle for a garden restaurant that is completed when the finished compost is used in organic farms. Look for the “compost station” in the dining room.
